Trinity United Church Sunday School and Youth Program
 
Sunday School Classes are held each Sunday morning in conjunction with worship at 10 am.   Children and Youth begin the morning in worship for the first part of the service and usually make their way to classes following the Time for the Child in us all.
 
We have preschool ( ages 3-5) , Grade 1-3, Grade 4-6, and Grade 7-9 classes.

In addition to regular Sunday School Classes there are special events throughout the church year such as a White Gift service led by the youth and children, (typically on the 3rd Sunday of Advent) , a Cookie Sale in support of the Mission and Service Fund and a special Sunday School celebration and Church family picnic in June. Throughout the year children and youth are often encouraged to participate in worship leadership.  Youth music teams and worship planning teams periodically lend their creative talents to our worship experiences.
 
 
Sunday School Schedule for the Advent and Christmas season.
December 21- to January 11
 
Fourth Sunday in Advent – December 21 – Children Grade 1 and older are invited to worship with their families. The Preschool Sunday School Class will be held, supervised nursery,  
 
The Sunday after Christmas. December 28 – no Sunday School Classes. Christmas Activity Sheets will be available in the Narthex, supervised nursery
 
Epiphany Sunday and Communion. January 4  no Sunday School Classes. Epiphany Activity Sheets available in the Narthex, supervised nursery.
 
Baptism of Jesus Sunday – January 11 – regular Sunday School Classes resume, supervised nursery.                                          Janice MacNeill

Sunday School Cookie Sale for M&S The Sunday School classes raised $215.25 for the Misson and Service Fund. Thanks to all who helped and supported this venture
Our Sunday School teachers, have dedicated themselves to sharing stories of faith and questions, activities and the love of Christ with the children of our congregation week by week. They have offered an important ministry and we thank them!  Our teachers this year have been:  Debbie Davis, Raylene MacPherson, Erin Wynn, Patsy Addison, Karen MacKenzie, Catherine McKean, Susan Weeks, Mary Webber-Cook, Ross MacIntosh, Eleanor Smith, Darlene Sangster and Rose Fraser.  
We also acknowledge with gratitude the faithful volunteers who have cared for the babies and toddlers in our nursery each week,  They are:  Vera Archibald, Bronwyn Bagnell, Grace and Trevor Boudreau, Delta Cavanaugh, Kevin Bryden Jill DeMont, Anne Moore, Andrea Robertson and Scott Anderson, Susan MacDougall, Raylene Tucker and Darlene Sangster,  For their ministry in caring for the littlest among us, we thank them and may God bless them!
